Thank you for your interest in Mt. Zion Christian School. In order to complete the enrollment process, the following information must accompany your application.
All new students, grades P3 through 8th grade:
o Enrollment application and non-refundable fee
o SC Immunization Record
o Covenant form signed
o Media Release form signed
o Student Body Census form signed
o Copy of Birth Certificate
1st through 8th students must also provide:
o Computer Use Contract signed
o Copies of the following:
Report card for previous year and current year
Standardized test scores for previous year
Any other special testing your child has ever had for any reason
o Educational Background Information form signed
6th through 8th students must also provide:
o Letter of recommendation form given to a current teacher or principal for them to fill out and mail back to MZCS.
Upon completion of the required documentation, 1st through 8th grade enrollments will be contacted regarding an interview/testing appointment.
The purpose of MZCS is to provide an excellent Christian education with the support of the family. Admission to MZCS is primarily based on three criteria:
· The family is in support of the school policies, discipline policies and financial policies.
· The prospective student is performing at or above grade level.
· The prospective student gives evidence of good conduct and attitude.
A family not meeting these criteria may be denied acceptance to MZCS. Thank you for your interest in placing your child at Mt. Zion. We look forward to meeting you.
Notification of acceptance or denial will be given by a phone call and/or a letter following the interview/testing process. Please call the school office 297-6646 with any questions regarding the admissions process.
